General Description<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The EC1688 is a monolithic, step\u2010 down, switch mode converter with a built\u2010 in power MOSFET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It achieves a 2A peak\u2010 output current over input supply 9V\u2010 60V with excellent load and line regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current\u2010 mode operation provides a fast transient response and eases loop stabilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fault condition protections include cycle\u2010 by cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EC1688 requires a minimal number of readily\u2010 available external components. The EC1688 is available in a ESOP\u2010 8 package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
