General Description

The EC1457 is a current mode monolithic buck switching regulator.

Operating with an input range of 4.5­40V, the EC1457 delivers 3A of continuous output current with an integrated high side N­Channel MOSFET. At light loads, EC1457 operates in low frequency to maintain high efficiency and low output voltage ripple.

Current mode control provides tight load transient response and cycle­by­cycle current limiting.

The EC1457 guarantees robustness with input under­voltage lockout, start­up current run­away protection, output short protection, feedback short protection and thermal protection.

The EC1457 is available in 8­pin ESOP package.
